Balaji Jinnah

Balaji is a Distributed Systems Engineer at Dgraph Labs, previously he was an intern at AVI Networks. His superpowers include being able to build system in both Go and Rust, and ship features at the pace of a thunderbolt. At Dgraph, he brings a unique value addition as he contributes to all of Dgraph’s significant projects, and this includes Badger, Dgraph, Ristretto and GraphQL. When not at work, you can find him contributing to a variety of open-source projects or at the gym.

Encryption at Rest in Dgraph and Badger

We built “Encryption at Rest” in Badger v2. Encryption is complex, but important. With this blog post, we not only want to introduce this feature to our users, but also dive into the details of how we implemented encryption in Badger, so the reader can gain enough understanding about introducing AES encryption in their own systems.
